Diplômée de la Sorbonne à Paris, Katja Rausch est linguiste et spécialiste en littérature du 19ème siècle. Partie à la Nouvelle-Orléans aux États-Unies, elle a intégré la A.B. Freeman School of Business pour un MBA en leadership et enseigné à Tulane University. À New York, elle travaille pendant 4 ans pour Booz Allen & Hamilton, management consulting. De retour en Europe, elle devient directrice stratégique pour une SSII à Paris où elle conseille, entre autres, Cartier, Nestlé France, Lafuma et Intermarché. Pendant 12 ans, elle enseigne les Systèmes d’Information au Master 2 de Logistique, Marketing & Distribution à Paris 1-Panthéon Sorbonne et 4 ans les Data Ethics au Master de Data Analytics à la Paris School of Business. Spécialisée dans l’éthique des nouvelles technologies, elle travaille sur les décisions éthiques appliquées aux domaines tels l’intelligence artificielle, la data Éthique, les chartes éthiques, la big data, les interfaces machine-homme, le transhumanisme, la transition numérique éthique et la Business Éthique. Auteure de 6 livres dont un dernier en novembre 2019, Serendipity ou Algorithme (2019, Karà éditions). Elle apprécie par-dessus tout les personnes polies, intelligentes et drôles.

Daniele Proverbio believes in the value of multidisciplinary research and in the permeation of science in society – and vice versa. Thus, he prepared himself by graduating in Physics of Complex Systems, while also attending the SSST in Turin, an excellence school that focuses on multidisciplinary problems like bioethics, AI or warfare. Currently, he’s pursuing a PhD in Computational Sciences for biomedicine. He’s also attending an MBA and managing an IG channel for science communication. And having fun with many other projects!

My name is Ahmed Hemedan, I am a doctoral researcher at the bioinformatics core unit, LCSB at Luxembourg University. The research of my work covers a broad spectrum of applications of data science, bioinformatics and systems biology in the
life sciences. This includes the integration and interpretation of large omics datasets to the Disease Maps aiming to translate them into novel medical insights.
Furthermore, I use the revolutionary advances in artificial intelligence to develop machine learning-based paradigms to solve critical problems in medical research.
This resulted in a range of publications in peer-reviewed open access journals. Additionally, I use and extend the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to make the research outcomes more personalized and FAIR.
I am advocating ethical approaches with all its facets (data, publications, source code of research software, etc) and I am active in communities promoting and implementing this for example The Carpentries community.
As a certified carpenters instructor, I try to empower biological researchers and librarians by teaching coding skills to work more efficiently and effectively with data, information and knowledge.

Vivre sans but c’est naviguer sans boussole

Passionné par les organisations humaines, je m’intéresse à l’anthropologie, la psychologie, la sociologie, l’économie & l’histoire. En semaine je me lève chaque matin pour accompagner la transformation des entrepôts et de la Supply Chain. Dans nos études ou dans notre travail, l’éthique doit prendre sa place pour accompagner notre faculté à juger nos idées et nos actes. L’éthique doit être la boussole qui guide nos décisions.

Directrice du Pôle Stratégie et #GreenEconomy chez Groupe PSB, formatrice en stratégie marketing, je suis aussi gérante de deux magasins bios depuis 13 ans. L’environnement et la RSE sont pour moi une seconde nature ;-). Passionnée de psychologie humaine et de développement personnel, je choisis il y a deux ans de mettre fin à une carrière dans le monde de la Logistique pour entamer une reconversion qui me conduira à devenir Coach en Estime de soi et relations amoureuses. En 2019, je fonde le Self Love Project avec mon associée, et nous accompagnons des femmes célibataires pour leur permettre de lever leurs blocages et de rencontrer enfin quelqu’un avec qui construire une histoire saine et durable. Nous accompagnons aussi les personnes en couple afin de les aider à faire le point sur leurs relatons et mettre en place les comportements qui leur permettront de vivre leur relation en harmonie. Nous croyons en une éducation à l’amour adulte qui fait défaut à la plupart d’entre-nous, et qui explique bien des errances et des souffrances chez beaucoup. Notre axe de travail se positionne à la fois sur l’aspect psychologique (rapport à soi, peurs, croyances,…) et sur l’aspect sociologique (décontraction des « normes » amoureuses); pour que chacune puisse se construire la vie amoureuse qui lui ressemble.
